My big boy has a very sensitive stomach and I have tried EVERYTHING since adopting him from the Burlington animal shelter last year, from kibble to fancy expensive mail order food to cooking for him to raw. It turns out that out of everything so far, one specific kind of limited ingredient, "novel protein" kibble is the thing that keeps him producing solid 💩 and less 💨.
Since kibble can go stale or rancid very quickly, I buy the 12.5 pound bags and I have been ordering it online - and much as I love that service, they have been delivering bags that look like they were thrown across the warehouse floor, holes in the bags, etc.
I don't live close to All Pets Considered but I was near there the other day and decided to stop in, and they actually had the bag of kibble in this particular size, which nobody else in town does for some reason. They are also the only place around that carries Goughnuts, which while they cost a fortune, have a lifetime warranty and are the only toys that my boy cannot destroy - literally anything less than one of these is a joke to him (including the much cheaper "tough chewer" toy I bought while I was there just to give him something new to do for a minute and knowing it wouldn't survive long - a rubber bone about 8 inches long, reduced to this wad below in under two hours 😂)
Anyway, great place! Great selection of everything, love the service, love the people, love that I can shop local, and I love how much do they do for the community. We are customers now.
