Position held with APC- Battleground Store Manager
How I started with APC: I worked for a dog kennel and was looking for something part time and closer to my apartment while I was in college. I started off working only Wednesdays from 6-8pm. All Pets quickly became my next work home where I became manager after 5 years, created lifelong best friends, adopted my own dogs as an adult, got married, bought my first house, and had my first human baby! I plan to be here for the long haul because my life would not be complete without my All Pets fam!
Things I enjoy most about APC: How rescue oriented we are, how loving and understandable we are, the amount of training that we do to keep our nutrition knowledge up to speed, a fun place to work and visit. how frequently we are in the community for events, the lifelong friendships i have found, and all of the pets that come into visit.

Position with APC: Grooming Manager
How I started with APC: Before coming to All Pets Considered, I worked at the Guilford County Animal Shelter, as the Animal Rescue Coordinator. While working at the shelter I started working closely with Alison trying to get dogs out of the shelter. Once my time at the shelter came to a close, I knew I wanted to continue working with animals in some capacity. I saw an ad that APC was hiring within the grooming salon for a receptionist, so I reached out to Alison while submitting my resume. I knew APC was a company that shared my passion for animals. APC became a place where I enjoyed coming to work everyday and I quickly moved through the different positions within the salon: receptionist, bather, groomer and grooming manager. I have truly loved helping pets feel and look better within a company that truly loves and cares for animals.
My favorite thing about All Pets Considered: I have enjoyed working with APC, the company is truly pet care focused whether it is teaching owners about proper nutrition and health or providing grooming to help maintain your pets hair, skin and nails. I truly appreciate how rescue oriented APC is. We provide donations to rescues and have our monthly rescue round up program. I love how involved we are within the community with the many events APC hosts. One of my absolute favorite things about working at APC is of course the pets! I love that I get to interact with them on a daily basis and get to be apart of their lives even if it is in a small way.
The animals and humans in my life are: I have been married to my husband, Thomas since 2010 and have been together since 2005. We are owned by two basset hounds Daisy and Maggie and two cats Jean Grey and Rouge. I am a lover of all animals but hound dogs have my heart. I have had pets my whole life and couldn't imagine my home without paw prints.

Position with APC: Event Coordinator and Social Media Manager
How I started with APC: I moved from Florida to North Carolina in November of 2022 where I started working at a local pet boarding facility. I loved working with animals, but I missed the coordinating and creativity I had in all my previous jobs. I soon found All Pets Considered in August of 2023 and started working here as a floor associate and event coordinator. In October of 2023 I also took on the role of Social Media Manager. Living so far from my family can be hard but working with such a community as the one All Pets Considered provides, I have come to feel right at home.
My favorite thing about All Pets Considered: I love the opportunities All Pets Considered provides. I have met so many amazing people in the community and have been able to work closely with local rescues and businesses on a regular basis. All the adorable animals I get to see is also a giant bonus.
The animal in my life: I have a 3-year-old Husky named Alaska. She loves her mom working at All Pet Considered because she gets spoiled with all the treats and toys and dog could ever want.

Position with APC: Receiving Manager and Sales Associate
How I started with APC: I started shopping at APC pretty frequently after adopting my puppy, Meg. I was always very impressed by how knowledgeable the staff was and found myself wanting to know more about pet nutrition and how to best feed my dog. After some time as a customer, I decided I wanted a second part time job, and felt that APC would be a great fit, considering my love for dogs and cats and my interest in pet nutrition. I worked part time for about a year and a half before I started working pretty much full time. I now split my time between receiving in the warehouse and working up front in the store.
My favorite thing about All Pets Considered: I love how passionate our leaders and staff are about rescue animals and pet nutrition. I love that I learn new things about pet nutrition almost every day!
The animals and humans in my life are: My boyfriend, Ryan and I have 2 sweet rescue dogs, Meg (Lab/Hound Mix), and Luigi (Chihuahua/Terrier Mix), and a very sassy tabby cat, Kiki. We all love the outdoors and we take the dogs hiking every chance that we get!
We love our customers from Greensboro areas around Colfax, High Point, Archdale, Summerfield, Oak Ridge, Jamestown, Pleasant Garden, McLeansville, Browns Summit & more!
My big boy has a very sensitive stomach and I have tried EVERYTHING since adopting him from the Burlington animal shelter last year, from kibble to fancy expensive mail order food to cooking for him to raw. It turns out that out of everything so far, one specific kind of limited ingredient, "novel protein" kibble is the thing that keeps him producing solid 💩 and less 💨. Since kibble can go stale or rancid very quickly, I buy the 12.5 pound bags and I have been ordering it online - and much as I love that service, they have been delivering bags that look like they were thrown across the warehouse floor, holes in the bags, etc. I don't live close to All Pets Considered but I was near there the other day and decided to stop in, and they actually had the bag of kibble in this particular size, which nobody else in town does for some reason. They are also the only place around that carries Goughnuts, which while they cost a fortune, have a lifetime warranty and are the only toys that my boy cannot destroy - literally anything less than one of these is a joke to him (including the much cheaper "tough chewer" toy I bought while I was there just to give him something new to do for a minute and knowing it wouldn't survive long - a rubber bone about 8 inches long, reduced to this wad below in under two hours 😂) Anyway, great place! Great selection of everything, love the service, love the people, love that I can shop local, and I love how much do they do for the community. We are customers now.
